SMS Communications

We use SMS to send appointment-related messages to clients on behalf of providers using SmoothCal. By actively selecting SMS reminders during the booking process, you consent to receive automated text messages related to your appointments, including confirmations, reminders, rescheduling notices, cancellation notices, and follow-up messages. We also send one-time verification codes when clients request phone verification during booking.

• Message frequency: Up to 3 messages per appointment, plus one-time verification codes requested during booking
• Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan
• Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message to cancel SMS reminders

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent will not be shared, sold, or rented to any third parties.

Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to operate SmoothCal, including Stripe for payments and Twilio for SMS/voice communications. These services have their own privacy policies.

All third-party data sharing excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
